Welcome to the Theodore Roosevelt High School Vocal Music website! Our department has a rich history of presenting the highest quality of diverse choral music in Iowa. Boasting nearly 60 performances each year, our students in 7 choirs have opportunities to experience professional music in its entirety. Da capo Vocal Jazz 

Mr. Parker Haley, Director

Da capo is a highly selective vocal jazz ensemble open students in grades 10-12 by audition only.  Students will develop the styles and techniques appropriate for vocal jazz literature along with improvisation and advanced aural training skills. This ensemble performs a number of times during the school year at Roosevelt and at various community events.
